Jumial Digital is a technology support service based in East Sussex, United Kingdom, operated by Jules. We provide in-home and remote computer support for residential and business customers across East Sussex and surrounding areas. Jumial Digital is a trading name of Mercurian Prodigy Solutions Ltd, 17 Dorset Road South, TN40 1NL.
We are a small, local business. We do not have a database of customer records, a marketing system or any automated data processing. Everything described in this policy reflects how things actually work.
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics scripts of any kind. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other third-party tracking technology. Your visit to this website is not tracked, profiled or shared with any advertising network.
The only data stored on your device is a small flag in your browser's local storage that records whether you have dismissed the information banner. It contains no personal data and is never transmitted anywhere.
When you submit a service request or booking form on this website, the information you enter is sent securely to Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form processing service. Formspree delivers your submission to us by email and holds a copy in their dashboard. The information collected includes your name, email address, phone number, location, a description of the job and, for bookings, your requested date and time.
This information is used only to respond to your enquiry or confirm your booking. It is not sold, used for marketing or shared with any third party beyond Formspree. We periodically clear old submissions from the Formspree dashboard. Formspree operates under its own privacy policy, available at formspree.io.
Card payments for the booking deposit are processed entirely by SumUp (sumup.com), a regulated payment service provider. When you click the payment link, you are taken directly to SumUp's own secure payment page. Jumial Digital never sees, receives or stores your card number, expiry date, CVV or any other payment card details at any point. SumUp is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all card data under their own security standards and privacy policy, available at sumup.com.
The only payment information we receive from SumUp is a notification confirming that a payment was made, which includes your name and the amount paid. This is used solely to confirm your booking.
After completing work for a customer, we may keep a basic record of the job for our own legitimate business purposes. This typically includes the customer's name, contact number, the type of work carried out and the date. This is the minimum needed for invoicing, follow-up support and accounting. We do not hold this data in a cloud database or shared system. You may request that we delete any record we hold about you at any time by contacting us directly.
If you contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp, your number will appear in our call or message history in the normal way. We do not export this to any system or share it with anyone. If you ask us to delete your details, we will remove them from our records.
We only collect what is genuinely needed to carry out the service you request. We do not ask for information we do not need, we do not retain data longer than necessary, and we do not use your information for any purpose other than providing the service.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request corrections, to request deletion and to object to processing.
